Never Underestimate The Stupidity Of Idiots

After reading one of my comments I of course felt a post coming on.  This person I am about to respond to is just like all the others that made the very reason why I went on hiatus.  Too much stupidity in one place is a dangerous thing.  So, let’s just jump right in and get this party started, shall we?

My new friend Stephen Conklin asks: “First of all, what do black people not have in this country that white people do? You are showing your racism right there.”

Really, I am showing my racism by pointing out that there is disparity between races?  This is a real question?  Well I guess some people really are clueless.  OK Stephen I’ll bite.  How about we just list it out with reference so that you will be happy to have it backed up.  But then you can’t really complain.

  •  Wealth – The median wealth of white households is 20 times that of black households according to a Pew Research Center analysis of newly available government data from 2009. (Boy, what is it now after this recession?  Do you think it grew or shrank?)

I guess you really can’t argue with that one unless you are going to tell me that black people just don’t want wealth, so they go about trying to ensure they have none.  Or there is a real system of inequality in this country.  Hmmm?

  • Jobs – Blacks are unemployed right now at a rate of twice that of whites.  Black unemployment surged to 16.7% in August, its highest level since 1984, while the unemployment rate for whites fell slightly to 8%, the Labor Department reported.  Black unemployment has been roughly double that of whites since the government started tracking the figures in 1972

And I guess you are going to say that black people just don’t want to work.  But somehow they want to complain about unemployment for blacks.  Hmm, doesn’t make sense, because if we didn’t want to work, we would all be happy about the numbers of unemployed blacks versus whites and then ask why more aren’t unemployed.  Or can we look at the study by Devah Pager which showed that black men with NO criminal record and a 4 year college degree got far less job offers than white men with a felony record.  Stephen, how do we explain this?  Is it *GASP* disparity?  Is it something that white men have – the fallacy that they are somehow better than black men, even when they have a criminal record?  OH MY, what exactly could this study be showing us?  Who knows right?

But people such as you will deny that this has anything to do with racism, it is just a side effect of something else.  Why don’t you enlighten us as to why black unemployment is always double white unemployment?  Because if blacks have everything whites have and every opportunity whites have then we should have similar unemployment rates.  So what is the problem here?  Lazy blacks, illegal immigrants taking black jobs or maybe it is just another example of how blacks are the last hired and the first fired as most blacks in the workforce already know.

  • Home ownership – Home ownership rates for African Americans is 48% (compared to 75% for Whites) according to newly released U.S. Census data from 2009. (Boy, I wonder what those rates are since this recession. Stephen, they sure as hell didn’t get better after 2009, you think?)

Now why is this?  It can’t be that blacks just decided, “Hey, we don’t want houses or a way to build wealth for our families.”  In fact we don’t want houses or jobs.  That’s it right Stephen?  Or maybe the redlining, racist lending practices and last hired, first fired is making a showing in the housing market as well.  But of course this doesn’t mean that white people have something black people don’t have.  This just means that blacks don’t have stuff white people DO have.  LOL.

  • Education –  According to The Maynard Institute more than 25 years after Brown v. Board of Education integrated the public schools, schools remain segregated. Studies establish that segregation perpetuates racial inequality. Teachers assigned to minority schools are more likely to be inexperienced or teaching outside their fields of expertise. Schools serving minority communities receive less financing and fewer schools are constructed in minority communities. Black and brown children are disciplined more harshly and frequently for the same offenses as white children.
But of course this is because black children don’t want to learn right?  Everything showing disparity between the races proving that whites DO have things blacks don’t, can always be summed up as just a byproduct of blacks lack of desire for these things.  Not that the American system is inherently set up to create these disparities.  You see Stephen after slavery was abolished, Jim Crow reared its ugly head, then after Jim Crow we now have a supposed underground system even if highly blatant disparity that people like you pretend not to see.  Even though it is glaring in your face like the pretty lights blinking on any of the casinos littering the strip in Las Vegas.
But, please don’t let me open your eyes.  Just continue to sleep and pretend that its all equal and all black people have to do is pull themselves up by these non existent boot straps and just have what whites have.  Because we black people never contemplated doing that at all.  In fact we just never thought of just having these things.  Hey, I am going to go and tell all the blacks, “Just have exactly what whites have!”  Now, we can just do it.  Thanks Stephen, you really showed me and the rest of black America that it was in our hands the whole time and all we had to do was do it.  That college degree holding black man can now say, I’ll get that job no matter what felony wielding white man comes in for the position too.  I will just TAKE that job.  Thanks, Stephen you opened up all of our eyes!

But back to the REAL world, WHY is it that I have to consistently implore you to do a little research before coming to my blog and talking crap?  Second time you haven’t listened and again the second time you look like an idiot.  And yes, I called you a name.  It is how we label someone when they are behaving in a manner that calls for their behavior to be explained to many people.

If you feel that my calling you what you come here and showing me you must be, then by all means don’t come here.  I didn’t come to you and call you a name, you came here and acted in a fashion that warranted a name.  If it talks like a moron, writes like a moron and thinks like a moron, then the chances are overwhelming that it IS a moron.  Sorry.

Good luck next time.  But, again, do some research before bringing your tripe.  I don’t like stupidity for the sake of stupidity.  Oh, and I will answer the rest of your tripe in due time.

YOUR IT STEPHEN:  PROVE THAT BLACKS HAVE EVERYTHING WHITES DO?

M O R O N – That Spells Tea Party

Click for video of John Fleming on Chris Jansing

Waaahhh, I only have 400 thousand dollars left over after feeding my family!  Is what Tea Party congressman John Fleming’s cried on Jansing & Co. this morning about Obama’s plan to tax the wealthy as much as the middle class.  Can this idiot be for real?

We have people and a lot of them in this country as well as in the Tea Party who have to “get along” with more like 40 thousand dollars or less a year and he is crying over 400 thousand.  That just pisses me off to the core.  This is the selfish bullshit that we are dealing with in some of the worst economic times ever.

Not only is this Tea Party sucker bitching and moaning about paying more taxes, but he and his cohorts are also saying that we need to cut spending on programs for the poor as well as “raise” taxes on those same poor folks.  Because lord knows those poor suckers who after feeding their families are left with a good 200 dollars for the year as income should be forking out at least a hundred and fifty of that to pay down the deficit consisting mainly of tax cuts for John Fleming and those like his selfish ass.

Poor John Fleming sitting there in his million dollars or better home with his family just trying to survive and here we are trying to create class warfare with his kind by taking more of those 400 thousand dollar crumbs of his is after his businesses brought in 6.3 million dollars for the year.  I guess when he said 400 thousand; he totally forgot the 173 thousand a year he also gets by being a congressman.  But, why split hairs, we know he is just on the cusp of the poor house; and with that kind of money coming in every year, who can remember it all.

The class warfare is that the Republican and Tea Party believes that not only do the rich need to pay less into the society that is putting the money in their pockets, but somehow the poor should be paying more to ensure that they have the means to pay less.  How sick is that?  This has been a long time coming and people better start looking at the writing on the wall before it’s too late.

Even Jansing told the idiot that he position to the majority of America isn’t very sympathetic.  He could care less because his answer was the “class warfare never created one job.”  But, you know what Mr. Fleming, a tax cut for a selfish wealthy bastard never created one job either.  In fact the years that we had all these tax cuts for the rich, the only thing that happened was that we started losing jobs faster than ever.

Because what Fleming doesn’t understand is that he has the whole economic structure backwards.  He believes that those at the top or company owners create jobs when in fact it is those at the bottom who create jobs.  It probably sounds nuts but hear me out.  If I open a lemonade stand, I have to have a demand for my lemonade from the thirsty people looking for a good deal on a cold drink on a hot day.

Neither Mr. Fleming nor his cohorts are cruising the streets looking for lemonade as these people only make up one percent of the population anyway.  It is the hard working people that are my customers.  And any kid with a paper route, lemonade stand or girl scout selling cookies understands that you aren’t going to do any business if you have no customers or your customers have no money to spend.

Mr. Flemings owns a lot of Subway sandwich shops and he isn’t going to tell me that somehow if he has lower taxes and the poor have higher taxes he is going to do some brisk business.  In fact we all know that he will do very poorly.  If the people have no money or less money frivolous spending at sub shops will decline.  Those moneyless people will be better off buying a loaf of bread and a package of baloney at the super market for the price of one sub sandwich.  So, who is fooling who here?

But, you see it doesn’t just stop there.  He and his cohorts want to cut all government programs so that those poor folks won’t even get food stamps to buy their bread and baloney.  But, unfortunately for Mr. Fleming, they won’t have money for food, but they damn sure won’t have money for his stupid submarine sandwich.

I guess we’ll see his stupid face in the soup kitchen line right along with the rest of us.  You can’t build a business with moneyless customers.  And if your customers have no money, you my friend will eventually have no money either.

M O R O N – that spells Tea Party, lawds yes.

How’s That Drill Baby Drill Workin’ Out For Ya’?

Hey, Sarah Palin, how’s that drillin’ workin’ out for ya’?   Is this the drillin’ you wanted?  A bunch of dead oil rig workers and a big ass oil slick flowing into the gulf?  A bunch of new dead animals, pollution on the beach and toxic chemicals that will last for years.  Oh, that’s right, she is from Alaska, she knows all about oil spills and dead animals.  Obviously it doesn’t matter since she likes yelling drill baby drill.

She had a great time on all the news channels asking everyone how that change was workin’ out for us all.  Why isn’t she on there now asking the republicans how they like that drilling.   I guess she feels that we should drill until the entire ocean is filled with the toxic sludge that is oil; which will ensure that, all the wild life that live around or in the ocean are extinct and everyone looks as if they could be the star in that movie the Hills Have Eye’s.

How about the new mantra of the republican party can now be, Oil slick baby, oil slick!

The Black Reality Principle

The Reality Principle is basically that one begins to learn the need sometimes to endure pain and to defer gratification because of the exigencies and obstacles of reality.  We hear it all the time from blacks, that this is just how things are, we don’t deserve any help and somehow if you endure this broken life, you will be rewarded in heaven.  Even though your tormentors are receiving their rewards NOW!

This post is based on a comment to my post about black people displaying the Stockholm syndrome.

A refresher of the syndrome.  Stockholm syndrome describes a situation in which a hostage begins to grow sympathetic towards their captor and they even loyal to their abductor. Occurring under physical duress, tremendous emotional behavior or other traumatic situations (such as kidnapping, hostage situations), the effects of Stockholm syndrome never goes away even when the crisis ends. The syndrome is particularly obvious in battered-spouse cases, slave and master relationship, cult victims, prisoners of war, abused children, hostage victims; and individuals who are experiencing a severe emotional, isolation and physical abuse.

So isn’t it futile to argue with one who has been raised by generations of people with Stockholm syndrome?  Wouldn’t the person you are arguing with just continue to fight to prove that the victim IS the problem?

The Black Sentinel

It’s tough to get a grip on the “reality” you present. As you admit, you have no central thesis. You’re merely espousing a sentiment which the reader is tasked with applying to life.

I am adequately familiar with Stockholm syndrome to discuss it intelligently. I can infer no purpose in your claim other than an excuse for behavior. I am more than willing to entertain another purpose, if you provide one. But my inference seems justified by your assertion black people need “help” to get over the generational trauma of being black. What form is this help to take? Who is to provide it? What is its lack preventing black people from doing?

Walter Scott Hudson

Walter,

So when a person comes back from the war and says that they have PTSD, is that an excuse of behavior?  When a person has a traumatic brain injury and they have a change in personality or anger management and the doctors say it is because of the brain injury, is that an excuse for behavior?  When you have children being abused and they do some sort of crime, everyone can see that they have issues due to abuse are those issues an excuse for behavior?

See my problem with what you are saying is that ONLY when we want to look at the root cause of the problems in the black community it is an excuse of behavior.  No one claims that a woman who shoots her abusive husband is using said abuse as an excuse of behavior.  At least no one who has a brain is going to say that the abuse had no part in her behavior.  It is not an excuse, it is an explanation.  Is it so bad to admit that black people have never had our abused psyches healed?

Not one person has so far said that poor Jaycee Dugard and her children who were held captive in Phillip Garrido’s, a sick torturous pedophile, backyard, “hey, you aren’t being held captive, get on with your life, get a job and raise those kids, and you better do it right even though you were in a situation of torture, torment and lack education.”  Nope, we have all agreed that this girl AND her children are in need of special mental help.  We as a society agreed with this so much so that she has not been expected to “just move on” with her life.  She is receiving the help she needs to move on with her life in a productive manner.

But somehow, it is OK for a whole population of people to be held in the backyard of a sick torturous population of people and be told, “Hey, you aren’t being held anymore, get on with you lives.”  Not only that, we were then held back by lack of education, lack of jobs, lack of self worth, but none of that matters.  This is our collective inheritance.  And so if you feel that it is an excuse for behavior, why don’t you explain to me and all who read this exactly what has occurred that somehow healed the minds, bodies and souls of the people who were charged with teaching us life skills?

And you are asking me to provide you with a purpose, really?  And somehow you THINK I am saying that the generational trauma is from being black, really?  You may see being black as the problem or trauma, I see the TREATMENT that blacks have and do suffer in this country as the problem.  I see that the TREATMENT that blacks have suffered in this country was never countered by anything.  And if there was some sort of collective mental healing, when and where did that take place?  Or are you saying that when a person or people suffer a great trauma such as the one placed upon the black community in America, they need NO help?  That once the main form of abuse has stopped, they have no lingering affects, no residual problems that are related to such treatment?

And you want me to tell YOU what type of help this is to take and who is going to provide it.  Why don’t YOU tell ME and better yet why don’t you tell yourself?  Does it really even matter who does it, what type and how?  Why do you think that just because I feel that help was needed and IS needed that now I am the one that is charged with explaining the fix for all the problems or coming up with all the necessary steps to put a plan in place?

Are you one of those people who look at the person telling you that a building is on fire, and asks them to explain to you all the necessary steps to putting the fire out and to explain what exactly is it that the lack of fixing the burning building is or will be preventing the inhabitants from doing?  When it all seems so obvious at least to some of us, it does.

And if you can’t see what the lack of mental health prevents people from doing, there is a problem.  I shouldn’t have to write my thoughts and then fill in every detail for the detail challenged.   Because to me if a person can not see what a lack of mental health help to people who have suffered not only mental but physical abuse shows me that you either have no imagination or no compassion or possibly both.  I am not trying to offend; this is just what I see.  I can’t stand by and see people who have been handing down an abused persons system of survival and nothing much more than that and not see a people who need help.

In fact a people who actually needed help when the slavery abuse first stopped.  Shouldn’t those freed slaves have been given the mental health support and other support they needed to be able to begin living a life they know nothing about?  Instead of being given more fear, more systems of abuse, other systems of exclusion and denial?  It would seem to me that those freed slaves were in a worse position than Jaycee Dugard, yet I don’t see anyone asking why she or her children need support.

And so, if you feel that my “reality” of blacks as a group of abuse survivors’ descendants is so profoundly different, then where is your central thesis to the contrary?  Where is your comparison and contrast?  You haven’t shown anyone here anything to counter one point made, yet continue this snide commentary that seems to say nothing more than your wrong so prove to me your right.  I don’t need to prove anything to you.  And in fact if you believe I am wrong then I guess you should be proving that, right?

Either you take the route that blacks were abused and received no assistance to counter that and thus handed down this abused mentality generation after generation or you take the route that they were healed at some point in time which you can name and therefore handed down a sound system of parental and personal management and somehow generation after generation just continues to fail for no reason other than . . . you fill in the blank.

Another Kook Aid Overdose On MLK Jr. Day

As I surfed the racism and discrimination tag surfer I came across a post that sounded promising.  It was called The Afronista Rants #7: Sorry, MLK , The War Ain’t Over Yet.  I mean from the title and how the post starts I thought this was going to be an insightful strong view.  And all I got was disgusted and basically pissed off.  I almost wished I had not seen it, but then I wouldn’t be able to address some of the views that we have of our own.  It is pretty obvious that this person is channeling Bill Cosby or at least studies at his school of non thought.  So basically this was a reply that ran hella long so became a post instead.  So bare with me.

Wow, is this post supposed to be inspiring?  I was with you for at least a paragraph or two.  But as I read on this seems to have lapsed into nothing more than the same stereotypical tripe that is being force fed to the masses constantly with the help of Bill Cosby and the like.  You speak about the fact that the war isn’t over, and you are right at least about that one thing.

The war isn’t over, but the war isn’t with us like you think.  The last time I checked blacks weren’t holding the positions of power in which to deny jobs to other blacks.  But that is beside the point.  Let’s just go and address the articles main points, shall we.  You talk about how we oppress ourselves more than the white man ever could.  And you might be right from looking at your thoughts on the black community.  But the sad cold facts are that in the game of oppression the majority still reigns supreme.

Talking white, acting white, Uncle Tom, etc.  You claim that these are all things said to other blacks to make them feel guilty for succeeding.  Um, what?  That is a load of crap.  Acting or talking white, which I doubt very seriously is even being used as often as people like you claim, is not about people doing well.  It is about people who have a propensity to speak proper English, which by the way is no indicator of how well you are doing.  My son has just finished going to an ALL black school where he was on the honor role as well as being in honor and AP classes, and has not been called that.  I guess it may be regional.

I also, never suffered those names and neither has my significant other who was a math major and went to a school for the gifted while living in an all black neighborhood.  My sister who kept a 4.0 all through her school career has also never suffered from this form of taunting.  We lived in a black neighborhood as well.  I am not saying it doesn’t happen, but I am saying that I have talked to too many people who would definitely have been candidates for this talk who don’t know anyone suffering this as well.  Not to mention we are all successful now and live in an all black neighborhood that anyone who can see, would consider the ghetto.  And that is by choice.  And I have yet to be called anything other than neighbor.

And Uncle Tom is a whole other beast in itself.  Also, having nothing to do with how well a person “plays the game” or so called game.  It is about a black person who will sell the rest of the black community down the river to get ahead.  Now unless this is the “game” you are talking about, then maybe you are right.  But, then again if this IS the game then I would think that this would be a bad thing, deserving of some derogatory name.  You see, to a LOT of black people, we can do well AND help the black community at the same time.  Success doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive.  And maybe that is the problem.

Just because a person spots an Uncle Tom doesn’t have to mean that they somehow failed the game, or can’t play the game.  This kind of talk is just a cop out in order to justify leaving the black community in the dust in order to win at this so called “game”.  People act like they can never see pointing out these blacks is anything other than envy, jealousy or what have you.  And since it goes deeper than just the same stereotypical thoughts, you might need to think outside the box to understand.

Black people segregate themselves far worse than the Jim Crow laws.  Wow, just wow.  I guess you haven’t heard of Red lining, gentrification or discriminatory and predatory lending practices.  All of these practices were and are designed to keep the “majority” of blacks in specific areas.  But, hey, don’t let me rain on the bash black parade.  I guess all it takes for blacks to get out into those exclusively white dominated housing markets is to turn on a bit of “other people’s music”.  Because lord knows that blacks love crummy neighborhoods and choose to stay there whenever possible.

I am guessing the fact that black unemployment is over twice that of the general white dominated population is just a fluke.  I suppose, to you blacks are just a lazy bunch of do nothings who refuse to try new things.  At least this is what your writing looks like to me.  You of all people should realize that the black community is not this monolith we are generally seen as.  You have people from every walk of life who decide to ONLY stick to the music they have grown up with.  That isn’t some sort of black trait that signifies uncouth uncultured people.  You seem to have a narrow mind when looking at the black community.

Just because one is born in a middle class neighborhood doesn’t mean they need to stay there as well, and the same can be said for upper class neighborhoods too.  And what makes you think you know how much determination there is with each new generation of blacks?  I am curious to know.  And what circumstances surround these new generations who lack determination?  Or do you know or even care?  You are great at naming symptoms of this disease we in America live in, all the while seeming to gloss over or better yet ignore the facts of the actual disease.

Black people want to be rappers or sports stars?  And why would this be?  Would this be because if they turn on their televisions, radios or internet, they see that blacks, who were once relegated to those crappy neighborhoods as you put it, were able to use those means to bust out of the crappy place?   Is this a black trait; are black children the only ones who have dreams of entertainment or sports?  Because the last time I checked there were kids from every walk of life aspiring to be stars of some sort.

And I guess you don’t see the hypocrisy in your statements, right.  Either these kids have no determination and are happy wallowing in their crappy neighborhoods or are actively wanting something better or more even if they are chasing the wrong rainbow.  I guess there aren’t any props for the dream.

And black men don’t think of college, only getting it quick by selling drugs on the corner.  Again, wow.  And this isn’t stereotypical why?  I guess all of those black men who DO go to college only did so for sports.  Even though the majority of them actually major in and graduate to do something other than sports.  And I guess all those black drug dealers who are standing on the corner have hidden airplanes, speed boats or other equipment to help them import all the drugs from outside the country.

We know damn well that almost every drug sold in America comes from outside the country and people still want to claim that selling drugs is a black thing.  Are you nuts?  Cocaine isn’t grown in the U.S., so where are these drug dealers getting it in order to make crack, crank and whatever else?  Where are they getting the heroine which is made from the poppy plant and is pretty much a staple of Afghanistan right now?  You really think that black men can get away with carting drugs down from Canada or up from Mexico or in from overseas with all the racial profiling that goes on, these dudes can barely walk down the street.  And if you are ignoring this, can you say who is getting a pass on bringing the drugs to those black men?

And let’s talk more about the education.  You speak of college but somehow fail to mention all of the failing, crumbling, shoddy excuses for public schools.  Who is responsible for those schools?  Why do you think that the government would set up a system where the schools are funded by tax dollars, when we know that the majority of black neighborhoods have a tax base so low they can barely pay for a school window?  Do you think that was a coincidence?

I mean come on it isn’t rocket science!  OK, black unemployment HIGH, black income, SUPER LOW, black middle class GONE, black tax base LOW, schools in black area funded by unemployed, low income, low tax revenue equals POOR SCHOOLS WHERE KIDS DON’T HAVE A CHANCE.  So while black kids are being undereducated by the truckload; who can we say is getting a pass on this one?  If we wanted to educate every child in America, we would.  This isn’t that far a leap to make; it wouldn’t even be for some poor kid educated in a black public school.

And now January 20th is rolling around and yet the fool is ALREADY up on the soap box!  You claim that black people got all of these rights and act as if just because there are laws against discrimination, all of a sudden bingo bongo the doors flung open and blacks were ushered inside.  You know there are laws against murder too, do I need to go on. You speak of reparations and people knocking on our doors to hand us our due.  Well the last time I checked I didn’t get a dime of freaking reparations and no one is banging on my door to give me neither reparations nor this supposed due, you spoke of.

But what I do know is that black people today aren’t, this monolithic poor ghetto population who refuse to leave our squalor ridden crummy neighborhoods, while ignoring our education as we refuse to do anything besides sell drugs all while dreaming of being the next super rapping sports sensation who doesn’t want to listen to the Beach boys for fear someone somewhere will call us a white talking and acting, Uncle Tom.

I hate to say it as well, but we are losing the war.  The war we are losing is the one where even our fellow black people can’t seem to fight the programming which says we are all just that one big raging black drug dealing ghetto thug who is out to ruin America by begging for a hand out.  It is a shame when we have such hatred or disdain for our own community that we can’t even see that we have taken up the bell of the town crier.  One whose bell is so much stereotypical crap that once was heaped on us by a white dominant community town crier.

Hopefully as your buddies continue to send you statements about how they are black and proud, you can look at yourself and see someone who should be a proud black person yet isn’t because you allowed yourself to get drunk off the Kook aid spiked with propaganda fed to you by the dominant community.  Hopefully you will realize that you are no better than those ghetto folks you seem to hate. Those ghetto folk may be tearing the black community down with their ignorance and complacency.

But unfortunately, you are nothing more than their twisted doppelganger. You think you have made it, are making your way to it or some version there of.  Yet, you do nothing to help the black community with this stereotypical rant. Actually you are working hard and seeming to be very successful at tearing the black community down.  And the one thing that unites you with Mr. and Mrs. Ghetto in all of your destruction of the black community is blatant ignorance.  And to think the title of the blog is “Senseless Scribbling Of An Idiot.”  Kudos, sounds like you finally hit the nail right square on the head with that one.

Isn’t That The Magic Negro Calling The Negro Dialect Offensive

This is just a little ditty to all of the so called right wing bloggers and pundits who are crying about the Harry Reid debacle.  I am disgusted that any of you have a nerve to sit and act all high and mighty calling for this man to step down all the while chastising the black community for not joining your cries.  It bothers me to no end how the same idiotic people who are calling Harry Reid a racist, are the same folks who just the day before were probably talking about how over sensitive blacks are and how they continuously play the race card.

So it is completely obvious that this is just a silly game to you.  I have a question for you.  When did you start caring one iota for the black community or what bothers us?  Where in the hell were you when Rush Limbaugh was playing that Barack the magic Negro song?  Oh, that’s right you were defending him and telling people to lighten up.  But now you feel that we need to get all up in arms.  When in the hell have any of you ever called for the stepping down of one of your own?  Or better yet, when was the last time any of you took one of those racist right wing pundits you seem to love, to task when they continuously spew racist drivel?  That would be never.

Tell me exactly what it is you find offensive about what Harry Reid said, it can’t be the word Negro.  Wasn’t it the right wing numb nuts who were just yelling a day or so ago that no one should care that the US census added the word Negro back on the list?  Didn’t Glen Beck go so far as to say that African American was a bogus term and Negro more fitting?  And now it is offensive to the Republicans?  What is this, the Twilight Zone?  It is almost as if you all have developed a serious case of multiple personalities.

Were any of you fighting for black people’s right not to be offended by the word Macacca?  In fact, the Confederate flag has been offending blacks for years.  We have been asking for it to be removed from States forever.  I still haven’t seen any Republicans going out of their way to cry on black people’s behalf and help to get that flag thrown out.  Doesn’t this make you even more of the hypocrites that you’re crying that the Democrats or the black community are?  Well if Republican’s have a need to help blacks all of a sudden, can you take a look at the unemployment numbers?

And since when did any of you who are NOT black, have any right to tell any of us who ARE black people, what we should or shouldn’t be offended by.  Haven’t we gone through this before, when you all claimed that we shouldn’t be offended by Barack the magic Negro?  Isn’t the fact that you somehow think that you have the right to chastise the black community for not feeling MORE offended and then running to herald your cause just as racist, if not more?

Whether it was Harry Reid, Sarah Palin or whatever person any of you wish to replace these names with, the outcome would be the same.  They would be chastised and they would apologize and they would move on.  The last time I checked, Joe Wilson with his blatant disrespect is still a sitting Senator.  And of course the Democrats would be calling for their heads, it doesn’t come to anything.  Isn’t this what both of these stupid parties do?  Isn’t this the normal mode of operation, that we have to play this stupid back and forth game.

So what this boils down to is a bunch of people who could care less how the black community feels about anything, are using this feigned, so called degradation of black people as a rally cry to further their own means.  A game which is to help oust the man who has a pivotal role in helping to pass this health care bill which they deathly oppose.  And they wish to use the black community like so many pawns on a chess table to do it.  And the Democrats have no intention of ousting Reid when he is so pivotal right now.

It is too bad that you don’t understand black people or know how pretty much any of us feel, think or see life.  This is because you have no desire to know black people beyond your rightwing shills.  You see, we are not stupid.  We know full well that BOTH parties are full of racists.  They are chock full of racists with their own agendas.  But you see we do know one thing.

And that is that out of both of these racist filled parties; the Republicans have made a blatant decision that they were going to be the party of the angry racist southern white person.  And they continue to make it perfectly clear that they have no desire to encompass the black race within any of their agendas.  As they continue to show nothing but total disdain and disrespect for blacks on a constant basis.

And as far as I am concerned neither of your idiotic parties deserve to have the black community voting for you.  We are out in the cold no matter which party gets into office.  They don’t represent us.  We are continuously told that we need to help ourselves, even if pledges are being made to help every community in this country and even those that aren’t.  So the fact is, if you need a black lackey to do your crying for you; then get Michael Steele.  It seems that he does fine enough for us all.

In case any of you right wing numb nuts were confused about how you portray yourselves to the black community, then just go back and take a look at that Klan rally that you called a Republican national convention.  The brown and black faces were so sparse as to not be seen.  And the rhetoric on the stage was one of complete and utter blatant contempt for minorities.  Now you all want us black people to believe that you have our best interest at heart and are just angry on our behalf for what Harry Reid said.  Give it a rest already.

What, Harry Reid Channels Rodney King?

So I am perusing my tag surfer and under the racist tag there is a post titled “Racist Pig Harry Reid Invokes Rodney King.”  It seems the controversy over at this blog happens to be that Harry Reid used the phrase “let’s just all try to get along.”  Which I guess this whole issue for them came from “The Hill” who wrote an article and stated pretty much the same thing.  That Reid somehow invoked Rodney King into the health care debate.

This person then says, “How dare this racist bastard invoke the name of Rodney King during today’s healthcare session.”  And asks the question, “Finally, where is the African American community on this and why aren’t they telling Democrats to STFU?”  Now I must admit that I do agree a little bit with this person that this health care bill isn’t going to do much in the way of helping black people.

Our problems with health care are two fold.  No access to affordable insurance and even when that isn’t a problem, we have no access to the same quality of health care as our white counterparts.  What exactly is this bill going to do to ensure a racially bias free health experience for all?

Now back to the main issue, the invoking of Rodney King.   I am part of the African American community which is what they asked for, so let me give my two cents.  For one I don’t see HOW Reid invoked Rodney King since Rodney didn’t say what Reid said.  Rodney King asked, “Can’t we all just get along.”

So I am convinced that, in no way did Harry Reid accidentally nor intentionally channel Rodney King.  And if he did, then my question would have to be and so what?  What the hell do I care if Reid is channeling Rodney King?  Who the hell is Rodney King supposed to be to me or any other black person that I or they need to be angered over someone using the same phrase as him or close to it?

I mean yes, the man was beaten unconscionably by a thug ass gang of racist animals posing as cops.  And yes, this was one of the most horrific beatings ever to be caught on camera.  And yes, it was a disgusting display of the white race card when these animalistic monsters were acquitted without so much as a slap on the wrist for committing such a heinous crime.

A group of their white peers felt that these monsters did what needed to be done to a black man who steps out of line.  Rodney King personifies a whole group of ills that bubbles beneath the surface of  this melting pot we call America, yet boils over and consistently burns us in the black community.

But in no way is Rodney King some sort of black leader, black savior, black role model or black anything that when someone says a phrase similar to the one he used, would or should make black people angry as if some great sacrilege has occurred.  And to refer to it as blasphemy is an outrageously irresponsible statement.

Is the Democratic Party racist, HELL YEAH!  Is the Republican Party racist, HELL YEAH, HELLO!  And to think that either or neither party, the tea party, the Independent Party, the Green Party, hell you name the party, because it doesn’t matter party, aren’t all playing the freaking race card and nefariously using any minority not just black ones, to further their retarded agendas which don’t include the black community is crazy.

This is America, wake up and smell the coffee, because the pot isn’t just smoking, it’s literally on fire.  And I am supposed to care that Harry Reid almost said what Rodney King said.  Can anyone say distraction?  And hell yes, I am talking about a distraction;  if you don’t point it out, most people wouldn’t know that’s what they were looking at.  Somebody has got to say it.

This is nothing more than both sides playing the race card.  Republicans are crying that Reid invoked Rodney King, as if they cared about Rodney King, and think that blacks should be livid, as if they cared about blacks.  And the Democrats are crying foul, saying that the Republicans are calling their kettle black, when their (Republicans) pot is black too, sniffle, sniffle.

First it was cries that someone invoked slavery, as if they cared, now it is cries of Rodney King, again they definitely could care less; so why?  We are being played for fools in the black community that’s why.  We are essentially unrepresented.  All parties would like our community’s vote, but NO parties would like to see us outside of our community’s circumstances.  And somehow I should be angry about some idiot saying let’s all get along?  Give me a break.

I think if anything we should be screaming about our community’s lack of political representation period.  We should be yelling about getting our community the same treatment and representation as any other community where politicians seem to spend time figuring out ways to attract jobs, businesses, industry and other essentials.  Maybe we should ignore the dumb stuff such as statements that mean absolutely nothing and raise our angry voices together for something that actually matters.

Black Crybabies Whining Again

It doesn’t matter what forum, what news report or op-ed you read that has something to do with race, you will undoubtedly read a plethora of racist demeaning stereotypical comments from people who start off their rant with “I’m not racist, but” or “I’m not black or white, so I am unbiased, and.”

I was reading an article from CNN Money called “Black unemployment ‘a serious problem’.”  You can go and have a look at the comments and you will see just what I am talking about.  Now these types of comments are all too common, I mean I get a lot of them myself no matter what I am talking about.  The general theme consistently seems to be that blacks are just a bunch of lazy, unqualified, and looking for a handout whiny cry babies.

And then they turn right around and say that racism is not responsible for the serious disparity in unemployment rates.  Now I am pretty sure that this type of stereotypical thinking by so many white bigoted people is completely responsible for the disparity.  Because we know that white people ARE the majority of managers in charge of hiring, so it is relative that this type of thinking, which seems very prevalent, is a serious problem for black employment numbers.

Yet, we see by these types of comments that far too many white people are all too willing to play the white race card by deflecting, denying and raising issues that have nothing to do with the original point.  What chance do we have for looking at the issue of disparity let alone solving it if we can’t even raise the issue without most people becoming overly threatened?

What these people are trying to have us all believe is that the disparity we see in unemployment rates are just our imagination.  In fact one person replied that the rates of unemployment for blacks and whites were the same.  When actually what these people are saying is that it doesn’t matter that blacks are unemployed at twice the rate of whites because blacks don’t matter.

These people come to blogs, forums and every news report about racism and cry about how black people cry about racism.  Yep, they cry and it is OK, we cry and it is just too much for their sensibilities.  I guess blacks should just shut up about racism and allow it to continue their comfort be damned, all for the sake of making sure that white people don’t feel uncomfortable.

And then of course the comment was made that a few deadbeat blacks make all blacks look bad.  Do these people who say these stupid things ever wonder why deadbeat white people never make ALL whites look bad?  Would the answer be, the same racism that they deny even continues?  And is it the few deadbeat blacks who cause bigoted white hiring managers to overlook black applicants while not doing the same to the white ones?

Of course what discussion about racism in employment would be complete without the ever pressing complaint by bigots that blacks can’t get hired because their names are too “ethnic?”  One person says “Looks at their first names!!! Any prospective employer sees “Shatiqua Washington”, the resume’ goes in the trash!”  Isn’t this the epitome of racism?

Wouldn’t this be a prime example of why blacks have a higher unemployment rate?  And for anyone to know, see or say this and also think that racism doesn’t exist has to either be completely stupid or a huge bigot or both.  But we know that most of the people who are spewing these stereotypical idiocies are both.

What I see is that a lot of people will continue to use their ability to try and derail and stifle any look at racial disparity.  And this will continue to foster racism and racial disparity in this country.  We can’t escape the racial problems because those who aren’t suffering from the disparity don’t want to.

These people aren’t just sitting idly by while racism continues.  They are helping to continue it through racist rhetoric, stereotypes and propaganda.  The anonymity of the internet has allowed these bigots who are probably the hiring director for some company who just happens to be completely devoid of minorities to spew the racist rhetoric they would only say to their closest bigoted ally.

Until these types of bigoted white people can somehow be made to understand that their white privilege doesn’t give them ownership over black people’s experiences with racism we will continue the crying that they find so unbearable.

You Are A Racist!

You are a racist. Statistics don’t lie. 15% of the population is committing half the crime. I was watching a group of black leaders discuss issues concerning the black community. They were all crying about how racist everyone is. One guy commented that there are racist out there, but the problems still remain. He wanted to stop moaning about racism and start dooing something about the community. Some people have a victum mantality and others look for solutions. You are living with a victum mentality. Our country is majority white. If you want to be in a majority black country, move to one. If you are fine living here, do something about the problems that foster crime in your own community.

Bubba,

Learn to spell or use spell check then come and tell me about how it is a victim mentality that continues to keep such glaring disparity between the black and white communities. And you speak of doing something about the problems that foster crime in my community. Well in my community the criminals are white, what should I do about that? But if by “MY” community you mean the black community I would have to say that if blacks weren’t unemployed at twice the rate of whites maybe there would be less crime. But someone like you would rather not find that out, right?

And just in case you didn’t know, the white community commits more crimes than the black community. What are you doing to put a stop to it? Where are your community meetings to address this FACT? Where are the white leaders pointing fingers at the white people and asking them what they are prepared to do about the rampant crime in their communities? They are nowhere, that’s where. And the reason they are nowhere is because the focus is on blacks as if we are the only race that commits crime. Get a freaking clue.

Our country is a majority white, means what exactly?  Does it mean that blacks shouldn’t expect fair treatment under the law? Blacks should be content with the blatant racism that is rampant in our country?  Blacks should only focus on blacks and continue to let the systemic racism run amok in the race card playing white community? Or should we just let the status quo reign supreme and do nothing to fix the problem?

The problem in this country is that we want to constantly focus on the symptoms and never the disease. If someone walked into the doctor’s office with blood gushing from a wound in their arm and the only thing the doctor can focus on is that the person has a dirty bloody shirt and continues to tell the person that they need clean clothes, the problem never gets fixed. Think about that one, because this is what you are telling me to do. Only look at the symptom of racism not the racism. That might be helpful for those whites who wish to continue being racist but it does nothing to help black people. But of course that isn’t your main concern.

Your main concern is for blacks to stop crying about the treatment in this country and just put band aids on the gaping wounds that white privilege is cutting into us. Now if you want a country that is devoid of blacks, why don’t YOU and the other racists move to one? Don’t presume to tell me to move out of a country that some of my ancestors not only OWNED first but the others actually built. You don’t have the freaking right. Do you tell the white people who are unhappy with this black president that if they want a white president they should move to a country with one? I bet you don’t.

Most people like you wouldn’t have the good sense to see the hypocrisy in your statements. You sit there and tell people that they should stop moaning about racism and do something for themselves. So we decide to do something for ourselves and apply for jobs yet, the majority of businesses are owned and operated by white people. We then find ourselves being passed over for jobs such as the statistical study by Devah Pager shows. That a black man with a college degree has a call back rate on jobs less than that of a white man with a felony record. Nope that isn’t racism, right Bubba? That is just a black man who doesn’t want to work.

Well, unfortunately the statistical facts are against you on this Bubba. Remember you said that the statistics don’t lie? So while you are gabbing on about how blacks are playing the victim, I am looking at plenty of statistics to show that blacks are consistently the victims of all sorts of racism. And if we see that blacks are being victimized while trying to get jobs would that then show that blacks being unemployed at twice the rate of whites is just a symptom of racism?

So, then what of that victim mentality? Should those blacks who are surely being victimized just ignore that and move to countries where blacks can get employed? Or maybe the white’s who would rather hire a white felon instead of an educated black man should move to a country where there are no blacks.

So maybe instead of pointing your ignorant finger at the black community, you will point your finger right back at your own community. Maybe if people such as yourself worked within your own community and tried to change this system of white privilege and systemic racism, blacks wouldn’t be victims and have no victim mentality. Then maybe they wouldn’t be unemployed at twice the rate, which drives up crime, be denied housing, services and quality medical care.

But then who would be the crime scapegoat for white racists then Bubba? Oh yeah, the Hispanics, who get called out every time someone mentions the high white crime rate. So in the vain of Dr. Richard Kimble in the movie Fugitive, It wasn’t us white people it was the one armed Hispanic; right Bubba? So it sounds to me like you have a lot of work to do in order to straighten out your own community before you go chastising some other community.

Opposition To Equal Rights Is Bigotry

BigotryOpposed

I find it extremely frustrating to continue talking to people who wish to impose their views on you all the while claiming that is what you are doing to them.  Isn’t that the idea of a debate?  To present your views through FACTS that back up the information you are relaying.  It is painfully obvious that a LOT of people don’t understand what debate is or how it works.

You know it never fails that in cases where bigotry and or racism are concerned all of a sudden people have these thoughts that there are so many gray areas and middle grounds everywhere.  How can there be a gray area when you are telling someone that you don’t believe they should have the same rights as you.  How can telling someone that their choices are illegitimate while your choices are right and therefore deserving of certain privileges or rights?

How can this thinking be anything but WRONG?  How does any sane non bigoted person come to the conclusion that the jury is still out on whether or not a person should be endowed with all of the rights granted to every adult in this country?  But this is what you have to constantly converse with when writing about instances of bigotry and hatred.

Of course its narrow mindedness which causes people to think that somehow they should have any say on whether two people who are adults, consenting, and law abiding citizens should be able to do what every citizen in this country is allowed to do just by having a different sexual view.  And then have the nerve to say that this is democracy.  Democracy isn’t about being able to vote away peoples rights.  Give me a break.

Hmm, now that you think about it of course biased people think there is a middle ground.  Just like I am sure you can find a ton of racist people who believe that there is a middle ground as to whether or not black people or Jews should have the same access to rights in this country.

Yet, people wish to call YOU something stupid like “Bush” because you are pointing out the obvious.  If a person were to say that Jews shouldn’t have the right to vote simply because they don’t worship Jesus like Christian people, they would be labeled a hater or a bigot.  And that would be damn freaking right.  What is so hard to understand about that?  I am just guessing that hatred or bigotry must tinker with your intelligence.

Yet, show a bigot that denying a person the right to marry is no different than denying a person to vote, drive, work, live, or the right to any other right granted to ALL people in this country and YOU have the problem.   And then to have the gall to actually then tell you that there are a lot of other people who have their rights abused as if that makes it OK.

There isn’t one reason other than bigotry that a person can give as to why thinking that one segment of the population that fits ALL the same criteria as every one else in the population except who they choose to love would not be able to have the same rights as everyone else.

But we all know that most bigots are extremely touchy about being called out.  Not only do they not wish to explain why one segment of the population doesn’t deserve the same rights but they continue to yell over and over about the same lame ass tidbit that they feel justifies their stupidity; yet, never qualifying these tidbits with anything.  As if just saying it over and over is the key to making it realistic.  Wasn’t that what the Bush Administration did to push the Iraq war?  Repeat a lie often enough and the stupid of the bunch will buy it.  Sorry I’m not the one.
