Trickle Down Knowledge

I just have to speak up on this atrocity that is being thrust upon me by these people who are running for the top slot on the Republican ticket.  Can anyone anywhere tell me why I or any other minority would vote for any of these, these “people”?  And I use the term people very lightly, as the old black sentinel would just call them idiots and be done with it.  But, I want to save that for later.  Not just pointing out that they are all raging mouth foaming idiots right away.  I also really want to try and understand what they have to offer.

I watched the debate like any open minded voter who wishes to ensure that there isn’t something better than the current Loser in chief.  I am interested in alternatives, but damn.  These people don’t give you anything to work with.  I wanted to pull my hair out as it felt like my ears were bleeding listening to this nonsensical drivel that seems to spurt from their mouths like the fountain out in front of the Bellagio in Vegas, but, not at all as pleasing and definitely nowhere near as entertaining.

It’s as if these people fell out of Palin’s ass or something.  She is stupid and they are flaming stupid.  So, now that you know how I feel about the candidates, let’s begin to break down the talking points for you and how these are why I can’t vote for any of them, thus FORCING me to say Obama will more than likely get my vote.  No matter how much that last statement gets my goat it just has to be that way.

From Ponzi schemes, two dollar gasoline, no mandates and everything in between is what was discussed in this debate.  Where do these people come from, is what I want to know.  And not in the literal sense as I know they hail from different states but, where do they come up with these ideas and do they honestly believe them.  I just can’t fathom that Michelle Bachmann believes she can somehow without government “mandated” pricing bring gas down under two dollars a gallon.  Give me a break already.  Is this a chicken in every pot statement or what?

Anyhow, Michelle Bachmann says she can get gas prices down below two dollars a gallon.  Ok, I’ll bite.  Anyone with simple knowledge of this so called free market understands that is a joke.  She thinks that drilling here at home will somehow reduce the gas prices here at home.  Oooookaaaay, right.  I guess she doesn’t understand that the open markets dictate the price.  Or maybe she is saying she is going to mandate or dictate prices for gas at home.  Wait everyone on the stage was against mandates.

Ok, so we should all understand by now that you can’t as president just say gas should be… and it magically happens.  This isn’t a Lucky Charms commercial here.  Gas prices are dictated by the open market like corn, wheat and everything else.  Even if you found oil in your backyard, it goes on the open market and as consumption rises so do prices.  India and China are coming on strong for that oil.  So, thus prices rise.  And even if we somehow flood the market as Canada plans to do with our new pumped oil, OPEC still has a hand in setting the price.  And unless Bachmann plans to overtake OPEC, she aint’ dictating any prices to them.  And any oil she drills out of the Everglades ain’t going straight to any gas pumps in the U.S.  So, let’s call that one bullshit and move along.

Everyone hates a mandate and plans to throw out Obamacare asap.  For Romney this is just trash talk.  He is basically saying, it’s good for my people in Massachusetts but not for others.  He even said that Obamacare was trying to cover 100% of the people where he only covered 80%.  So, some people have to fall through the cracks to make it Ok?  Anyhow, Obamacare didn’t go far enough; let’s just throw that out there.  So, we have all these people saying that the government shouldn’t force people to buy insurance.  Yet, it was OK, for the government to tell us we HAD to buy car insurance and homeowners insurance.  Give me a break.

Why is any of that OK, just not health insurance?  And don’t tell me it is state instead of Federal, as being forced to do something, doesn’t make one iota of difference how you are forced or by whom.  It is making me spend money anyway and probably a good thing as well.  As if I hit someone’s car, I am sure glad I have insurance.  Just the way I would be glad to have insurance if I have a broken leg.  But, these idiots won’t or can’t see any of this or maybe they just pretend not to.

Everyone on the stage is hell bent on trickle-down economics.  We see that crap never worked.  It didn’t work under Reagan; it didn’t work under George Sr. and sure as hell didn’t work under G.W.  So, exactly why is it that these fools are advocating doing exactly what we did to get where we are now?  Can anyone say insanity?  Just like Einstein said, Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.  But isn’t that what conservatism is?  Conservatism is the preservation of traditions.  Progressive is change.

Change doesn’t happen all at once nor does it happen without any problems.  I am not saying that Obama brought about the changes we need nor did he do it without problems.  He is inept to me but that is another story.  We don’t need to go back to the traditions of the conservative party.  They have nothing new to show us.  It’s the same old, I tried nothing and I’m all out of ideas, again.  This is a shame.  The more I watch these people the more I understand that some people don’t want anything to ever change.  Let’s stagnate like standing water in a bucket.  Get all full of muck, stink and filth.

Let’s flow or go with the flow and change.  Just because we have an idiot in office doesn’t mean we can’t help him to fix what is broken, not go back to the old broken because the new item isn’t quite working right.  That doesn’t make sense.  My new car has a funny smell, so let’s get into the old car with the busted engine.  Not smart.  The conservatives/tea party whoever these people fancy themselves are obstructionists sitting around saying let’s ensure no one can do anything different, and then point out how nothing is working.  Really smart strategy, NOT.  So again, why would I vote for any of these people?

The Propaganda of A Ron Paul Supporter

templ5.jpg

I received a reply from a reader that it seems has a totally opposite view of things than myself. Instead of returning a reply I felt that this comment deserved its own post. The reply is from H.R. who seems to constantly have this totally condescending attitude when talking with me. I am not sure whether this is personal or just his arrogant egotistical attitude. He has referred to my mind as being a sad little tiny place, I am also brain damaged and intellectually crippled.

Instead of exchanging barbs I will try my best to get my point across to you as well as H.R., who starts us off with “Government is an agreement among free people. Do you get that? A set of rules agreed upon by a set of people. Not a separate entitiy from those people. It’s when you start thinking of government as some all powerful being that’s going to take care of you and fight your battles and right all wrongs that you set yourself up to be controlled.

YES, I understand the principle of government and who and what it is for. That was the point I was trying to make to H.R. in a previous reply. He previously said that “No, the system didn’t “encompass” slavery … Blacks weren’t defined as people protected under the system. In other words, it was a mistake of definition, not in the nature of the law. Think of it as a monopoly game. The rules are the same for everyone, but the hard fact is that you weren’t allowed to play for a while. Now you can play, but because you’re bitter about being excluded you wan’t the rules slanted in your favor ..” Now when I spoke to him previously I used the term system to mean government.

H.R. can’t sit and now claim that the system never encompassed slavery. If the “system” never encompassed slavery then exactly who did? The system DID encompass slavery as it was institutionalized which meant that the act was given authority and by who if not the system or government. Yet H.R. would like for us to believe that somehow slavery didn’t involve the system who were the government who were the people.

Back to his comment about government, the operative word in his definition is FREE. When the government or system was set up we were NOT a free people so therefore had no such agreement. Now that we are supposedly free, the SAME government that deemed us as NOT free has not changed, they are not some new entity who entered into a new agreement with us. So what does a people do when the system or government or those free individuals making agreements with the government is dominated by a race of people who one – don’t respect them, two – started out denying them and continue to do so and three – don’t protect or acknowledge their rights whatever you deem that to be.

You can’t, if you want to have principles, allow racial issues to influence your philosophy of government, any more than you can have special rules for short people, ugly people, people with IQs under 90, etc. At what point do you stop dividing people and taking from one group to make up ground for another group? It’s a slippery slope.

Racial issues are and will continue to dominate our country due to the unwillingness of the dominating populace to see the hypocrisy in its actions. One group gets special treatment, is and was allowed to take from the other for the entire duration of their relationship and NOW H.R. would like for us to stop dividing people. I don’t know where he is going with this. I would like to know at what point do we stop dividing people and how do we even the playing field after one group has and continues to benefit so heavily from the divisions they created.

You have no larger concept of government except that it was created by whites so it must be a plot to perpetuate white privilege … This is a truly ignorant stance. You know what else was created by whites??? Nearly every staple of your life. The computer you’re using, the light over your head, the internal combustion engine in the car you drive … Was all of this done to perpetuate white privilege? Please tell me.

The government being created by whites is not the problem. The government being created as a means to advance white people at the expense of all others IS. The only ignorant thing is that people can actually think that a system of government was enacted which encompassed the subjugation and slavery of another race is not inherently set up to perpetuate the ruling race’s status.

Thanks for the history lesson on inventions, but how about some of these. Pretty much every staple of YOUR life as well as mine has its roots in Africa. Africans pioneered mathematics, medical practices not rooted in myth or magic, metallurgy, building with brick and mortar, and astronomy. Now you thank an African American for open heart surgery, refrigeration for trucks also trains, gas masks, elevators, air conditioner, refrigerator, Cell phones, fire extinguishers and the computer system you use today with its working bus and peripheral capability. Are these plots by the black race to show that they are productive citizens and worthy of being equal?

These things were introduced as a matter of progress–as is the ever changing system of government in Western society. Political philosophers have never been preoccupied with race…. read what they have to say. Thomas Paine, who was responsible for inventing the American approach to government, was a destitute undergarment maker who came to America with nothing, never had much, and died with nothing. He was also outraged by slavery and was one of the first Americans to take a resolute stand against it.”
“The American system was a bold innovation, and was, and is, the fairest form of government to date … If you study history you’ll see that ours is the least prone to class distinctions and abuses of power; the germ of it was, as I’ve said, conceived of by a poor man who had been kept down and got the shit end of government his whole life. (I’m talking about the Constitutional Republic we’re supposed to have, not the quasi-socialism we have now.)

That is such a crock of bull! We have a system that says it is OK to discriminate, let people die as opposed to giving them healthcare, pay for war as opposed to caring for the children, sick and elderly. We are as corrupt as they come and are no better off than any socialist, communist or dictatorship. We are just bamboozled into thinking we are. We are NO more free, happy, healthy or rich. Again we are just bamboozled into thinking we have the best system on earth.

It’s pretty egocentric to assume that the framers of our government spent any time thinking of blacks …. The hard truth is that blacks were thought of as chattel; as property and nothing more. The system wasn’t designed to keep blacks down any more than it was designed to keep wagons or beasts of burden down

H.R. is abso-freakin-lutely right our grand old forefathers NEVER spent one second thinking about the black population. Because they DIDN’T MATTER! The system was designed to keep whites UP not blacks down, since they were already there. They had NO inclination that slavery would EVER end. So it wasn’t a matter of writing anything that had to take them into account. So, now how exactly was this government set up to give blacks the same rights as whites again?

So let’s be perfectly frank here, and tell me where I’ve got it wrong:
Blacks came literally out of the stone age into an intensely mechanized and complex civilization. They had not developed the wheel or a written language, and this was at the time that Newton was inventing modern physics, and even later, at the time that Edison was inventing the electric light, moving pictures, recorded sound for christ’s sake …. This was what, 2000 years (?) after practically every other racial group had conquered the seas, built ingenious sailing vessels and could navigate their ways around the world …

Is he joking! Blacks in Africa had the first Universities, even Plato had to go to Africa for a University education. We had the first medicine not rooted in magic. They were doing surgery with tools that those of today mimic. We had societies with government and rule of law. Africa had construction techniques such as brick and mortar, Metallurgy, irrigation, aqueducts and plumbing. We had civilizations so complex money was not even necessary not to mention thank them for the mathematics and writing utensils used today such as paper and pencils. There are tons of things coming from Africa yet I am sure that since he is coming from a white propaganda background he has yet to do any research in this area. He is not necessarily racist for this thinking just ignorant.

Please tell me, am I being a racist for pointing this out?

The point is, it’s totally intellectually irresponsible to say that blacks had it hard simply because whites have plotted to keep them down. You say the white race “did this to them” which is laughable …. First off, black chiefs were well involved in rounding up and selling other blacks. Secondly and most importantly, for whatever reason–and I’m not making any guesses, just dealing in the facts–black Africans had simply not advanced while most of the rest of the world was going forward at breakneck speed.”

It is irresponsible to say that blacks had it hard simply because whites have plotted to keep them down which is laughable. Of course blacks had it hard because whites were plotting to keep them down. If they didn’t plot against blacks then how does H.R. explain the KKK, Jim Crow, Slavery and all the persistent discrimination and racism that has continued even today? I totally agree that blacks were involved in the slave trade. Jews were involved in the holocaust, America trained Bin Laden and Al Qaeda to fight the Russians, so NOW WHAT? Are the Jews responsible for the holocaust, is America to blame for 9/11 and is this assertion supposed to make slavery OK now.

Black Africans were ruling Northern and Southern Africa which were going at breakneck speed living in civilized communities, writing history, building structures, cultivating crops and domesticating animals all the while the only thing stirring in Europe were drawing stick animals on cave walls. Does that sum up what I think of his guess?

H.R. definitely needs to take a course on African studies before you begin your little guessing game. It is pretty ignorant to make assumptions that blacks i.e. Africans are so pitiful and backwards. Yes the African continent has been trashed and usurped by many violent outside forces like the French, Dutch and British. If anything the problem Africa had is that it wasn’t VIOLENT enough to get rid of these people before they did so much damage. Now they are a group of fledgling nations trying to start again with all that they were wiped away by years of subjugate outside rule. Yes they have problems but, these nations are mere babies and will need to figure out what they are doing again.

Just being perfectly realistic, do you think Westerners could confront men of any color who did not have the wheel, a written language, clothes, etc., who could only make simple stone tools–and say “these men are my equals?

Answer that for me.

The answer to this is that H.R. definitely needs to take a few African history classes. The wheel was invented in Africa. He is so pompous about the white race or the western culture he belongs to that he actually think that everything was made by the western world. While the western world was making stone tools Africans were making tools and medical equipment from metal. Also they made scalpels and other cutting devices out of obsidian which western doctors are reverting back to. They were making replicas, jewelry and tools out of gold and mining diamonds and other stones.

And if clothes are the key to being civilized; then maybe the horrible monsters that enslaved a nation of people were just wearing the wrong things. So I am sure that with all the advances that the civilized African man had over the westerners did not cause them to see them as less than equals. But then again, the Africans didn’t attack nor try to enslave the Europeans when they met them, I am sure they were treated well just like the natives treated them when they landed in America.

Yet I am sure that none of that made any difference to H.R. as he is too far gone down the road of racist propaganda that he obviously has no interest in what really went on in Africa before the meddling of others. Africans were not these pathetic no bodies that he would like to paint them out to be. Racists usually can’t get their heads around the fact that all life originated in Africa and that the first civilized societies, with a lot of the modern day inventions that one likes to attribute to the western world.

On the whole, you need to recognize historical realities, and recognize that there’s a larger pattern of events. You’re a pretty severe racist because you’ve been duped into believing that everyone hates you because you’re black, and that everything’s a plot against you, and that history proves this. History actually proves nothing of the sort–only that your racial group was at an extraordinary disadvantage and suffered for it.

The thing that I and hopefully the other readers will recognize is that H.R. demonstrates the basic thinking of a racist who denies being one. He constantly alludes to the fact that Africans and their American counterparts are looked at as less than whites for all types of propaganda laden reasons. When H.R. says I’ve been duped I wonder if he means duped by me looking at the slavery, the systematic racism, the discrimination, the killings by lynching, police abuse, deaths, hypocritical justice system, wage discrepancies and the blatant disregard of ALL things that blacks or Africans have ever done, discovered or ever accomplished. Then yes by all means I have been duped.

“I’m sure when you come to terms with this and can separate petty emotions from your contemplation of government, you’ll arrive at some sensible conclusions.

Thanks for the discussion. I’ll look forward to your response.

It is easy to see that the ONLY conclusion that I could come to that would make any sense to H.R. would be to whatever he would and become a sheeple just like him and those like him. Unfortunately I can’t and won’t buy into H.R.’s propaganda and nonsensical thoughts on things. Yet I will let all of you the readers come to your own conclusion on this guy.

Ron Paul – Racist Babble or Forward Thinking?

ronpaul2a.jpg

Neither Ron Paul nor his supporters surprise me with the plethora of racially motivated speech that they babble. I recently did a post on the blatant racist nature of what Ron Paul stands for and what I got for that was a gaggle of racist Paul supporters who have nothing but racist rhetoric to spew much like their candidate.

I had one person who seemed to think that for a black not to not vote for Ron Paul would be for us to doom our brothers to stay in prison for drug crimes. Since supposedly Ron Paul would like to end the war on drugs and thus this somehow equates to blacks being let out of prison in droves. Now what makes this fool think that the black community wants to have criminals running free just because they are black? What about the whites who are in prison for drug crime are they going free as well, and is this the goal of the white community? So why should it be of such importance to the blacks?

Here are some other comments from Ron Paul showing his unending support for the black community. And I would hope that all Ron supporters who claim that he is FOR the black community would wake up and explain how these comments help us. And for that they can explain how these comments are not just more racist rhetoric that is constantly being hurled at us. Ron Paul is nothing more than a simple minded racist who is trying to play both sides of the fence. He is staying true to his racist brethren while blatantly trying his best to get a foot hold with black supporters who are woefully uneducated to the statements and real agenda of this man and his supporters.

Regardless of what the media tell us, most white Americans are not going to believe that they are at fault for what blacks have done to cities across America. The professional blacks may have cowed the elites, but good sense survives at the grass roots. Many more are going to have difficultly avoiding the belief that our country is being destroyed by a group of actual and potential terrorists — and they can be identified by the color of their skin. This conclusion may not be entirely fair, but it is, for many, entirely unavoidable.

Indeed, it is shocking to consider the uniformity of opinion among blacks in this country. Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty, and the end of welfare and affirmative action…. Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the “criminal justice system,” I think we can safely assume that 95% of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.

If similar in-depth studies were conducted in other major cities, who doubts that similar results would be produced? We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, but it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings, and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.

Perhaps the L.A. experience should not be surprising. The riots, burning, looting, and murders are only a continuation of 30 years of racial politics. The looting in L.A. was the welfare state without the voting booth. The elite have sent one message to black America for 30 years: you are entitled to something for nothing. That’s what blacks got on the streets of L.A. for three days in April. Only they didn’t ask their Congressmen to arrange the transfer.

This entire spill was taken from the Daily Kos. I am only interested in finding out how with such statements this man could possibly be capable of doing good things to end the racial problems in America. He seems more adept at adding to the racial tensions by the use of his racial rhetoric than any thing else. Is this more racist babble or the forward thinking that most of his supporters keep speaking of. To me it sounds more like the speech of past and present racists. If any supporters would like to comment to these blatant racist statements please stay on topic as this Blog is not an open forum for hate speech.

Ron Paul Is Blatant With Regards To Race

ron_paul.jpg

I have been reading a lot about Ron Paul lately. He is being touted as a racist who has affiliations with plenty of white supremacist and the like. Now I don’t doubt that at all since there are probably a lot of people in Washington with close ties to white supremacists or the like. If there weren’t then I am sure that we would be living in a fair and just society for ALL. Instead of looking for clues as to who this man is wining and dining you can just go right to his website chronicling his bid for the presidency and see exactly what this guy is all about.

He says on his website that “It is the federal government that most divides us by race, class, religion, and gender. Through its taxes, restrictive regulations, corporate subsidies, racial set-asides, and welfare programs, government plays far too large a role in determining who succeeds and who fails. Government “benevolence” crowds out genuine goodwill by institutionalizing group thinking, thus making each group suspicious that others are receiving more of the government loot. This leads to resentment and hostility among us.

Of course the federal government is the one dividing us as the federal government is itself a white institution designed to protect the white privilege that had been established by its founding fathers so long ago. These so called racial set asides and welfare programs aren’t the problem. The problem is we as a people black, white or other shouldn’t need to have these programs in place. Yet, if we don’t how will “everyone” benefit from the prosperity of this country when the structure was set up for one race to succeed at the expense of all others. People always point to the constitution as Ron Paul himself does for it to explain that ALL men are created equal. We all know from history that the founding fathers had no intention of that including neither my forefathers nor myself as at that time blacks weren’t even considered men or women.

Genuine goodwill, is this the same goodwill that makes white privilege in this country the standard and not the exception? The only thing that is leading to resentment and hostility among us is the fact that white privilege exists and the fact that those who benefits from white privilege feel it is being threatened. We hear this constantly from people such as Pat Buchanan and Bill O’Reilly. Bill said recently that “All right. There you go. White privilege. The browning of America. There it is. There it is. Bottom line on this? That’s what it is. Change the complexion of America. Have an open border where Hispanics, people who live in the Caribbean, people who live in Africa and Asia can walk in and become citizens immediately. And there you have the white power structure would decline, of course. Because the numbers of people coming here would be people of color. Right? That’s the hidden agenda.”

Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than as individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called “diversity” actually perpetuate racism.” He might as well just say that minorities and the laws that protect them ARE the reason for racism. Because reading Brotherpeacemaker’s post about the “Good Old Days” you can see that before we protected the rights of minorities there was no racial strife, whites were totally and unconditionally in control with no opposition as obviously Ron Paul feels it should be.

Diversity causes racism? I guess if a race doesn’t want another race to have the types of benefits from society they have then I guess diversity causes racism. Since the group that doesn’t want the other will do whatever it can to keep them out using terrorist tactics such as noose hanging and cross burning or just good old fashioned denial of service. Diversity doesn’t perpetuate racism which is a fallacy of racists everywhere. That being forced to allow people of ALL races to enter into every aspect of living is somehow racists. In reality it is racists to say that diversity is unnecessary, that a place should and could be all white without any problems. Ron Paul is obviously a person who would like to enact the good old days of segregation. If we don’t ensure diversity then how are we going to ensure equality?

The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence – not skin color, gender, or ethnicity. Now unfortunately free market rewarding individuals for achievement and competence not skin color would only work if EVERYONE had the same opportunities and access to those opportunities. When if only one group benefits from the status quo then we already know that those who are under-represented will not benefit no matter how hard they work or how competent they are. Isn’t that the reason we had to enact equal opportunity and affirmative action laws? Well undoing those laws like Brotherpeacemaker showed will NOT under any circumstances equal out the playing field, it will further skew it.

In a free society, every citizen gains a sense of himself as an individual, rather than developing a group or victim mentality. This leads to a sense of individual responsibility and personal pride, making skin color irrelevant. Racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty. The only way skin color would be irrelevant is if we were all working from the same playing field and there was no certain privilege for one group or another. Since we are already working from a white privilege standpoint then everything is judged by a white set of standards. How then do we make race irrelevant when white is the only race that IS relevant in today’s society. Whites have the opportunity to work from an individual standpoint right NOW because they are within the acceptable norms.

No we don’t need to look any further than Ron Paul’s own words to see what this man is working towards. Personal pride, irrelevant skin color and victim mentality are all catch phrases of propaganda that racists love to use to show that blacks can’t of better yet won’t do for themselves and since they feel that this is a fact we blacks should be left in the dust. Ron Paul has shown his true colors brightly enough for even Helen Keller to see the writing on the wall. That Ron Paul has no intention of representing anything but white privilege. In fact with the things he said on his site he plans to do his best to not only protect white privilege but to expand it back to its hay day during Jim Crow.
