McCain The Cowardly Candidate

Am I the only one who doesn’t quite care that McCain referred to Obama as “that one?” Yes it was incredibly condescending and stupid. But right now I guess I am too focused on the fact that McCain is obviously a transparent coward. He has been attacking Obama all week long, calling him a terrorist not to mention allowing that harpy he calls a VP pick to do it for him. McCain had plenty of time during the back and forth that was going on to get in a little quip about how “none of us ‘really’ know Obama.”

Yet he totally squandered the chance to point to Obama’s face and call him out as that mysterious other. But alas the only thing that could come out of his impotent mouth was “that one.” Where the hell was that nonconformist, that rebel, that one of a kind Washington maverick that he has been trying so hard to sell to us voters or what he and Palin endearingly call us, poor suckers.

So instead of confronting the person he feels is an ill vetted terrorist or pal of terrorists himself, he does it behind Obama’s back along with his idiotic harpy. With her small mind values, oops small town values saying to the country, “I’ll fool you up real good like.” But what else could you possibly expect from a bunch of desperate clowns. I mean he did say that he “I intend to wage this campaign and to govern this country in a way that they would be proud of me,” … McCain also said that if elected, he would attempt to govern in the same spirit…

He claimed that “negative ads were like pornography, you know them when you see them.” He also said, “I just have to rely on the good judgment of the voters not to buy into these negative attack ads. Sooner or later they are going to figure out that if all you ever run are negative attack ads, you don’t have very much vision for the future or you don’t know how to articulate it.” Now either Clueless or his harpy, are really, really into pornography or they don’t have very much vision for the future AND don’t know how to articulate it.

Remember way back in 2000 when Bush clandestinely made the claims that he was a “Manchurian Candidate” traitor or mentally unstable from his North Vietnam POW days? McCain claims that he was disgusted and sickened by these attacks. Now he has employed the EXACT SAME attackers to attack for him. I guess when Cindy said that “John would rather lose an election rather than go negative” she was obviously still on the Percocet or she doesn’t understand that her husband would rather sell out the country in order to gain the power of the presidency.

How far will this coward and his harpies (this now includes Cindy) go in order to secure the White house? Covertly getting shills to pull a serious Rove tactic and say that Obama is going to get a rapper to paint the White house black, or how Obama will name Al Sharpton as the secretary of state? But people who are making fun of his hunched shoulders and stooped look should be ashamed. I mean can’t they see that this is the crooked walk of shame?

He is not only a coward but he is totally unfit to serve as our president. McCain agreed with President Bush 90% of the time, but he agrees with his negative strategies for running a campaign 100%. What kind of self respecting person votes for such a back handed, flip flopping, hatred inciting liar?

White People and “minorities” that can be bought.

  2. Shabazz,

You are right about that. But there are also a lot of stupid people out there who stand NOTHING to gain for these two fools getting into the White house. And in fact have everything to lose. But they would rather lose everything than actually do a bit of thinking.

    Thanks

Hi Black Sentinel. Just found your site, by happenstance. It’s terrific! I’ll be a regular reader. I’m one of those middle-aged white women voters you hear about, but I abandoned Hillary (better than any Republican) as soon as Obama announced his candidacy (better than Hillary). I knew he was something special when I heard him speak at the DNC in ’04, and reading his first book only confirmed this impression. The only reason I didn’t want him to run is that I was afraid something would happen to him. Then I told myself, he’s obviously thought of this himself, and I’m sure he’s discussed it with his wife and the rest of his family, and if they’re behind him and he’s brave enough to run, who am I not to vote for him because I’m worried for him?
McCain and his harpy (wonderful word, perfect word for Caribou Barbie AND Cindy) are running a despicable campaign. I don’t see how anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature can stand to look at them, let alone vote for them.
    Thanks for your blog!

  4. Lusitana,

I totally understand what you are saying. And it is getting even more ridiculous with these nuts inciting all this anger and hatred. It looks a lot more likely that one of the fools from their hate rallies will try something stupid.

I am wish we could just vote and be done with those two fools already. When they are shut out on election day, I will be very happy. If they are elected then I will feel sorry for us all.

But on the same hand I will be laughing when those idiots that put them in office watch as they and everyone around them start to fall with his bad policies.

    Thanks for the reply.

Well said, shabazz; very well said. I was thinking the very same thing, and then I read your comment.

I would like to share with The Black Sentinel and its readership the following link which I believe supports the theory that their side of the campaign is basically out-of-control:
“Unleashed, Palin Makes a Pit Bull Look Tame” by Dana Milbank, October 7, 2008
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/06/AR2008100602935.html
    Here are a few excerpts:
    “…
Worse, Palin’s routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric’s questions for her “less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media.” At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a RACIAL EPITHET at an African American sound man for a network and told him, “SIT DOWN, BOY.”

The reception had been better in Clearwater, where Palin, speaking to a sea of “Palin Power” and “Sarahcuda” T-shirts, tried to link Obama to the 1960s Weather Underground. “One of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers,” she said. (“Boooo!” said the crowd.) “And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, ‘launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,’ ” she continued. (“Boooo!” the crowd repeated.)

“KILL HIM!” proposed one man in the audience.
    …”

    The capitalized emphasis is mine.

Here is a question I would to address to The Black Sentinel and its readership: How many times in your lives have you heard a Caucasian say things like,

    “I’m gonna kill you!”
    “You’re dead meat!”
“Don’t show up tomorrow, or else you’re dead!”

As The Black Sentinel and most of its readership already know, I grew up in a well-to-do Caucasian neighborhood, and I can say without equivocation that I grew up hearing those threats since my attendance in kindergarten to shortly after September 11, 2001.

What happened on September 11, 2001 was bad. I believe everybody can agree on that point. The subsequent legislation that would come to be known as the U.S.A Patriot Act and that is the direct result of the September 11, 2001 attacks is considered by many as overly intrusive on the Rights of the People.

I think the U.S.A. Patriot Act is good because, among other things, the act finally made such statements such as “I will kill you!” classified as a threat of terrorism.

If anyone says statements like those just mentioned, one can notify law enforcement and tell them that “a terrorist threat” has been made. Law enforcement are required to investigate because of the new provision in the U.S.A. Patriot Act.

Their campaign is obviously very racist and violent.

The RACIAL EPITHET and “SIT DOWN, BOY!” statement should have been admonished by their campaign.

The public “KILL HIM!” statement is an arrestable offense.

I am absolutely appalled that Palin and their campaign did and said nothing.

    Yes, their campaign is out-of-control.

    Thank you for listening.

I love coming here because there is always a healthy and real discussion going on. I’ve written much in the last few weeks about these clowns that I now refer to as “McPain.” I’m appauled at the behavior I saw on MSNBC earlier today. What got me really heated is how the media suddenly has found these Black republicans and they’re parading them in the media against Obama. The young Black man at the rally in Wisconsin I swear was probably paid and planted in the crowd to BEG McCain to “please sir, talk about Rev. Wright, Ayers.” You only see a few people of color at any McPain event.

I’m with your poster who said they’ll be glad when this is over because Sarah Pain (Palin without the L) won’t rest until she incites a riot. “He’s a terrorist,” she says. Tomorrow I’m praying she gets whats coming to her when the troopergate investigation will be revealed.

Barack and Michelle Obama have young children. How dispecable of these people to march into a rally calling him a terrorist, muslim, and a faggot. I’ve always maintained that words don’t hurt people – people hurt people, but this is just over the top. They’re also now trying to accuse Obama of voter fraud. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures, but I’ll say it again – SHAME ON THEM!

  7. The Engineer,

These people should definitely be corralled for the hateful terrorist threats they are making. McGoo and his Harpy are pathetic. So far I have not heard one threat of violence coming from the Democratic rallies. And it is a shame that they are now down to the lowest denominator of the Republicans that they can rely on and pander to for votes.

    Thanks for the reply.

    PVDugas,

You should be sitting happy right now. Since they have agreed that the Harpy indeed overstepped her bounds and abused her power. I knew she was a loser from the moment I saw her. Now we can look at McStupid and his terrible judgment for picking such a loser.

Is this really what we want to have in the White house? People who have a history of abusing power, trying to silence critics, banning books, forcing victims to PAY for help, inciting violence.

We have enough anger in this country. Isn’t it time we had some peace and healing? Why continue to fan the flames. Then come out a day lat and a dollar short trying to calm your rabid group of haters down. He is a shame and a pathetic piece of work.

    Thanks for the reply.

  8. Here we have in the republican party presidential candidates two people that have been involved in invetigations. McCain = Keating 5 Palin = Troopergate but we’re supposed to be questioning Obama., whom has yet to have any official investigation of him. Although, They’re trying very hard…
The longer this goes on and nothing is found the more credible Obama should be relative to the opposition. I might add this string of logic only applies to intelligent people.

  9. i might add that these investigations have found both republican presidential and vice presidential candidates were found to have exercised poor judgment pertaining to their positions in government.
Things that make you go, hmmmmmmm.

  10. Theblacksentinel,

sorry for my consecutive posts but I thought you may get a kick out of this.

    http://www.thatone08.com

  11. Damien,

You are so right. These two idiots have been found to have used questionable and terrible judgment on more than one occasion during their careers.

Yet, they want to question the judgment of a man who has not gotten himself into any questionable behaviors in his tenure in the government.

Raising questions about who he knows when he is on past jobs is ridiculous. He didn’t hire Ayers. Annenburg did and she just so happens to be one of McCain’s big supporters. Does this mean she is palling around with terrorists?

He is a joke and needs to go away. Hopefully we will get our wish come November.

    Thanks for the reply.
